Information on data protection

Data protection policy
Thank you for your interest in our website. The protection of your privacy is important to us. The following provides detailed information about how we use your data.

Data storage
We point out that, for the purpose of an easier purchase transaction and for the subsequent handling of the contract by the web shop operator within the framework of cookies, the connection owner's IP data is stored, as is personal data, if you voluntarily communicate this to us within the framework of your order, when contacting us (for example, by contact form, order form or e-mail) or when opening a customer account. What data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms (name, address, e-mail address or telephone number, etc.). We use the information provided by you to handle the contract and to process your inquiries and orders. The data provided by you is required to perform the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without such data, we would not be able to conclude a contract with you. After the purchase transaction is terminated, the stored data will be erased. In the event that a contract is concluded, all data will be erased after the expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law of 7 years. Your self-made label designs will be erased after 2 years. Within this period of time, you may reorder the design at any time. The data is processed on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (30) of the German Telecommunications Act (Telekommunikationsgesetz, "TKG")  and Art. 6 (1)(a) - (c) and (f) (consent, necessary for the performance of a contract, for compliance with a legal obligation, to safeguard the legitimate interests pursued by the controller).

Data collection and use for contract execution and when opening an account
We collect personally identifiable information when you freely disclose it as part of your order, after contact with us (e.g. via contact form or email) or when opening an account. The respective entry form tells you which data we collect. We use the data provided by you to execute the contract and to process your inquiries. Once the contract has been fully executed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the tax and commercial storage periods, unless you have expressly given us permission for continued use of your data or we reserve the right to make further use of the data that is permitted by law and about which we inform you below. You can delete your customer account at any time, either be sending us a message via the contact option described below or by using the relevant feature in the customer account.

Data transfer for the purpose of contract performance
To perform the contract we pass on your data to the shipping company tasked with the delivery to the extent necessary to deliver the ordered goods. To process payments, we pass on the necessary payment details to the financial institution charged with the payment and, if necessary, to the payment service provider commissioned by us or to the payment service chosen by you during the ordering process. Your data will not be handed over to an uninvolved third party.

Data use when signing up for the email newsletter
When you sign up for our newsletter, we use the data necessary for this or the data you have provided separately in order to regularly send you our email newsletter. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, either be sending us a message via the contact option described below or by using the relevant link in the newsletter.

Disclosure of data breaches
We shall endeavour to ensure that any data breaches are detected at an early stage and, where appropriate, promptly reported to you or the relevant regulatory authority, including the relevant data categories involved.

Data use for postal advertising and your right to object
Furthermore, we reserve the right to store your first and last name, postal address and - if we have received this additional information as part of the contractual relationship with you - your title, academic degree, year of birth and professional title, sector description or business name in summarised lists and to use them for our own promotional purposes, such as sending out interesting offers and information about our products by post. You can object to the storage and use of your data for these purposes at any time by sending a message via the contact option described below.
